Friends of Couture

The Friends of Couture story began in 2008 when founder Mark Zander, an avid collector and merchant of all things vintage and nostalgic, devised a plan to bring together the classic and stylish looks from past decades to execute a vintage inspired fashion collection.

Principal designer Jo Matheson was enlisted to create the Friends of Couture look that would take the playful and cute styles from past decades, and translate them into a fun, wearable vintage inspired collection.

A stickler for a perfect fit and the right fabrics Jo’s designs are timeless yet nostalgic. Whether she’s designing classic ladies knitwear, party frocks or classic guys’ gear Jo’s style and aesthetic are what make the range fun and loved by a broad range of fashionistas!
