Nikki Gabriel is an a-maz-ing New Zealand designer specialising in knitwear and textiles. Her approach to hand knitting is about building structures that experiment with techniques and form. Raw materials and fibres are the initial inspiration to the artisan collections.

These productions involve labour intensive knitted pieces combining old craft practices with new materials and innovations in knit production. Nikki loves working with old-worldly techniques and hand finishing, yet also ventures into new materials, yarns, and industrialised processes.
